Stanley Cup Game Four Ends With Miracle Shot

After what ended up being close to a 120 minute struggle; the Blackhawks of Chicago were able to whittle down the amazing, Tuukka Rask. Six goals later and we are now at a very epic tie in game 4 of this Stanley Cup series. With the championship headed to Chicago for the next game we are taking a look at what made this past showing so memorable.

Slap Shots Make The World Go Round

Taking the spotlight at the 9:51 minute marker in overtime was Brent Seabrook. His snapshot was able to give the Blackhawks the point they needed to end the game and send the series back to their home turf. Teammate Patrick Kane was quoted as saying "I guess it was just our turn to score again," going on to say "It was a fun game to play. …I'm sure the fans enjoyed it." I'm sure I speak for us all when I say "You could not be more right Mr. Kane. As a fan of hockey I must say I have thoroughly enjoyed this entire championship series.

Bickell and Rozsival both boast 2 assists for Chicago. These 2 players only had 5 goals combined in the past 3 games. That sort of improvement among players makes for an exciting competition on the ice. Rask, while a serious contender at the goalie position and possibly being one of the best we've ever seen could only hold out for so long and eventually, after 41 saves let the game winner slip out of his reach.

Stanley Cup Winner Predictions

Bruins coach Claude Julian was quoted saying "It just wasn't a Bruins type game" "Our guys worked hard to score goals" The fact of the matter is that the Bruins were not able to get the Blackhawks out of the zone and when that happens, it is easy to sneak a puck past a defender. The game plan for the Blackhawks is a simple one. Don't let Rask see the puck. If they can stick to that formula I think we may be looking at a new owner of the famously sought after Stanley Cup.
